The 501st db Collections Moderator members (all being 501st troopers) are volunteer developers, designers, administrators who have worked together to make it possible build a new multi-purpose database hosting all your 501st Collection stuffs.
This database can ONLY be accessed to official 501st and RL troopers.
Creating an account is mandatory (being activated after providing user informations TKID/name) and require an approval for current admins.
From a technical point of view, 501st db Collections is a website and a generic collection-oriented component built on Joomla! (free open source CMS for Content Management System).
It has completely been developped following MVC (Model View Controller) pattern.
It's based on : LAMP (Linux / Apache / MySql / PHP) architecture.
It can easily be hosted on any Windows, most flavours of Linux/Unix versions, and the Apple OS/X platform.
